Protesters Burn Police Station In Niger State As Six People Are Kidnapped

Angry youths on Monday burnt down a Police station located in Gauraka, Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State. This comes after an attack by gunmen on Angwan-Wazobia community during which time six locals were reportedly abducted by the attackers. The development has been confirmed in a statement by the Niger State Police Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun. It will be recalled Naija News had earlier reported that protesters blocked the Kaduna-Abuja highway on Monday morning to express their displeasure over kidnappings in the area. Read More...
