INEC announces date for 2019 presidential election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed February 16, 2019, as the date for the next presidential election in the country. The INEC national commissioner in charge of the south-west, Solomon Soyebi, made the announcement at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday, March 9.
